Reversed Hydro City

Considering the hot and dry weather in LA during most of the year I created an upside down city to create shadow, cooling system inside it with cool water running in order to cool the temperature and increase humidity, with a large spiraling bike path around the main waterfall and connecting to elevated greenspaces over outer waterfalls. Pools and waterfalls serve also to reflect sunlight on to the building’s walls, thus, main space becomes the ground floor, and the upper part of buildings would contain solar panels, making it a renewable system. Carvings onto mass of buildings allow sunlight to enter the dark space underneath, by being aligned to summer and equinox sun orientation at noon.
