A Dressmaker’s Studio

Beginning with filming a hallway, I chose to analyze changes in hard light and soft light using two dimensional and three dimensional mediums. Then I created series of fragment cube forms, using figures from my 3D analysis to create the shapes of the apertures. I arranged these forms on my site to create a space for a dressmaker to create dresses, a space for people to model the dresses, and viewing spaces for visitors to observe the dressmaking process and the models.
