TRACES

This semester our section focused on exploring the process and transformation of architecture. My final project is an extension from the studies of mass, surface and structure. My unfolded surface model became the base of my site plan. The mass model was introduced to the site. By splitting the mass, and dragging it apart, the interior is exposed and an imprint is left on the ground. Structures are used to link the two parts together to facilitate movement from one to the another. The extension of the structures form a projection of the section cut on the other side of the project.
