ARCH 302B: Architectural Design III Gallery: Re-thinking the LA industrial vernacular and the long span tradition

Community Center

The intent of this community center is to both externally and internally represent a continuous momentum. The prismatic folding structure of the roof, the perforated metal screen, and the angles of the building itself all serve to encompass as one. The interconnectivity of the interior to the interior and the interior to the exterior allows for the street and the users to slip in and out of the building as needed.
