Degnan Center

In approaching the prompt of “reinventing” vernacular LA structure, this project implements a hybrid of the Bowtruss and Clerestory sheds. The south-facing clerestory implements a system of light-sweeps integrated into the structure to create a distributed and even diffuse light within the interior. The facade, implements a system of twisted louvers, which gives the center a sense of floating/intrigue.
