Leimert Park Community Center

This project is an effort to enhance an already deep connection within the community through mindful, but differing architecture that strengthens the bond between the people and their neighborhood. My design was driven by the analysis of Leimert Park’s typology along with an interpretation of structure through a clerestory truss member wall. This was driven by the sustainable and economical aspects of re using a member that is easy to produce.
