La plata, a city located on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is facing the consequences of climate change. Over the past 20 years, this region has experienced increased storm surge floorings, causing millions worth of structural damage. The goal of this project is to propose a new urban plan which redirects, cleanses, and contains runoff water during times of heavy rain. Furthermore, it incorporates sustainable features including urban farms, local food markets, and public plazas.
