Tranquil Trail

Tranquil Trail is a serene residential community located in the midst of Boyle Heights. In order to create a calmer atmosphere, a majority of the site’s first level begins 10 feet under ground, creating a semi-barrier from whatever traffic and noise pollution might be going on at the streets above. The underground aspect of the TT residential space allows for shading in some parts of the site at different times of the day in the communal areas. The first floor is accessed by one main path spanning the length of the lot with 4 descent locations. The trail through the dynamic landscape offers visitors a relaxing visual experience and access to a jacuzzi, meditation pergola, a bonfire area, koi pond, and green spaces for fitness, and other activities.
