Odd Lots

By examining the drawing’s role in interpreting, describing and constructing boundaries across terrains, this studio asks how to think and rethink the relationship between representation and physical environment. In particular, this studio searches for an alternative understanding of “property lines”, one that is not driven by commodification of the ground and the efficiency of trade, but rather the formal qualities of the “lines” and their capacity to define and invent space and community.
