A Balanced Ground
Architecture is bounded with nature as an object that lies between the natural ground and sky. It is overshadowed by natural boundaries. When such an unbalanced relationship between architecture and nature is challenged, it is possible to create a field with boundaries that are not limited by nature but defined by nature and architecture as a balanced set. Architects gain power by redefining a world where architecture becomes one of the two critical boundaries instead of being a ubiquitous spatial content. An exhibition where people wander between a balanced field created by natural and architectural elements is a design solution to create a spatial condition that exhibits this new relationship at human scale. The transformations from the balanced field will then generate surrounding environments at a larger scale.
