Leimert Courtyard

Affordable housing consisting of mainly concrete, wood infill, and glass for new families within a compact and close-knit community. A 3 floor and 29 unit design that can be described as a “series of towers” surrounding a central courtyard. The building provides circulation centered around the courtyard through the units, library, art center, and bookstore that additionally sells coffee. The library, art center, and bookstore face the 2 main streets to allow easy access whilst accentuating the circulation for all the members of Leimert Park.
