OPENFRAME

This project began with an idea of having open space for community gathering and interactions that also worked as a ventilating corridor on each floor. A 20′ x 20′ triangular grid was implemented to create a variety of easily manipulated rooms in the building. The façade then takes that same triangular grid along the edges of the building for structure and to enforce openings and entryways. The envelope on the exterior is made up of partially mirrored glass and the inside of the corridors is opaque glass.
