This project explores the ways thickness and circulation can be explored through the nine square grid. A sculptural library is created through a variety of program including observation rooms, classrooms and individual workspaces. The thickness of rammed earth allows for carving: an action one would take on a sculpture. Therefore a dichotomy between the obvious and the obscure begins to create dynamic form.
