Pitch Dichotomies

In this project, we designed for a sculptor and a stop motion animator. We each designed utilizing a diagonal five feet by five feet grid stretched across the site and pitched roof geometries as the main space-defining tools. Madison’s project explored introverted pitched geometries and subtractions from the volume of the house. Manny’s project explored symmetry within the floor plan and a more expressive exterior with the pyramidal roof.
