Superblocks are in a way meant to be semi-autonomous areas. The programs within the superblock should be sufficient for the people residing within it to carry out their daily lives. By creating high rise residential buildings, opportunities for multigenerational housing, and the development of communities. My superblock incorporates elevated public spaces that are highly accessible and hyper-connected, with the increase in accessibility and connectivity leading to a deeper sense of community within the superblock. The elevated public spaces will also lessen the amount of land occupied by public spaces by layering on top of the pre-existing programs. The highrise buildings and elevated public spaces will also allow for vista moments to be created. Because the vistas are public spaces, both residents and visitors will be able to experience the vistas.
