The Blatant Heart-to-heart Laundromat

This project is for an affordable housing community in the northeast of Leimert Park, anchoring its stance on a social critique of our over-usage of water. Greywater and rainwater recycling becomes an indispensable part of the architecture and lifestyle. The result is a highly sustainable, shared, domestic infrastructure that also provides an adaptive and collective model of living in Leimert Park, Los Angeles, and beyond.
