URBAN FARMING

The main focus of my co-living model is to create an affordable and flexible housing opportunity for Leimert Park residents. Through the modular framing system, I generated the housing and external systems in an affordable way. The framework is pre-fabricated as each unit follows a simple form of construction. The core part of my project is the urban farming that is placed on the south side and has multiples of a hydroponic vertical farm system The hydroponic garden is one of the most important social generators in my project. It provides multiple social occasions for the residents with its outdoor living area with furniture for groups. My section perspective reveals the entire process starting from production to consumption.
