The Oakwood neighborhood in Venice, California is the only remaining historic Black American neighborhood on the West Coast of the US. This studio explores the future of the neighborhood restoring social and environmental fabric after years of neglect and damage from historic Red Lining and structurally racist planning policies and gentrification.
