A Photographer’s Process

This project investigates the relationship between orthogonal and diagonal grids to produce a series of spaces and transitional areas that can be used to suit the needs of a photographer. You enter the site at the end of the photographer’s process, viewing his final work in a gallery meant for entertainment. As you progress through the site, more individualized areas for working and shooting clients are created through folding surfaces and ergonomic designs suited for posing a body. The tapering of surfaces and solids affect how light enters each space, playing with an illusion of depth to facilitate movement through the various pavilions and overall site.
