This project examines the complex relationships between the Air and Tenere Unesco Nature Reserve, the town of Arlit in Niger, its uranium mine, the city of Paris, and the Tricastin Nuclear Power Plant. These destinations, though discontinuous, are connected by industry, history, and economy. Through the lens of scientific research and data collection we can begin to understand the uneven experiences of these locales.

The etiquette transcript uses burger and ramen as the premises, and look at how these two types of food are consumed in different scenarios. By closely analyzing the scenes through kinesiology, volume, and time, the mission is to reproduce the scenes in one integrated performance which engage all diners. The users of this installation will become more aware of their own and other diners’ movement and behaviors, which will either create comfort or discomfort in the dining experience. They will also be educated on the “proper” way of eating a specific food.
A critique of contemporary practice regarding the transparency and acknowledgment of peripheral and discursive content within the architectural production process
The project proposes a new hospital for Venice in the light of the global event of coronavirus. The hospital connects existing medical service and transportation system of the city and becomes an emergency corridor. This retrofits the original program that is quarantine back to the modern Venice which is dominated by tourism. The structure and module of the hospital is manufactured and exported from China where mode of 10-day-construction quarantine center was demonstrated to the world through the broadcasting live cameras on the construction site.

I want to use my thesis project, Super Wet Market, as an opportunity to reconstruct automation’s role in the grocery shopping experience and people’s relationship to food.
After the COVID- 19 outbreak, the term “Wet Market” has been repetitively used as the derogation of the traditional market and farmers market.
What will be a grocery store experience that both appeals to the less informed common customers who are used to the environment of Walmarts and the foodies who cherish freshness and farm-to-table experience in Traditional Markets? Can we use the automated supply chain in Supermarket for celebrating the processing of foods instead of alienating humans from it?
Starting from indexing the mechanical elements in food processing lines, my thesis project – Super Wet Market attempts to reconfigure an automated hyper-reality of the traditional market in Urban Las Vegas.
This thesis considers the dichotomy of linear versus holistic thinking as the divider between what is ‘human’ and what is ‘natural’. My intention is to extrapolate on the gradual insulation of human space by speculating a world in which this dichotomy exists as architecture, in the name of treating humanity and nature with equal importance. The relatively extremist format is meant to imbue the viewer with an environmentalist sentiment towards the natural world, and a heightened appreciation for community in their daily life.
My project deals with the flexibility of programs and space and how it can influence the lives of the people. It focuses on bringing flexibility through the combination or programs and form.
Architecture is bounded with nature as an object that lies between the natural ground and sky. It is overshadowed by natural boundaries. When such an unbalanced relationship between architecture and nature is challenged, it is possible to create a field with boundaries that are not limited by nature but defined by nature and architecture as a balanced set. Architects gain power by redefining a world where architecture becomes one of the two critical boundaries instead of being a ubiquitous spatial content. An exhibition where people wander between a balanced field created by natural and architectural elements is a design solution to create a spatial condition that exhibits this new relationship at human scale. The transformations from the balanced field will then generate surrounding environments at a larger scale.
Viewer discretion is encouraged
