Blurred Edges

Blurred Edges is a co-op promoting a new way of shared communal living. With housing units being urged to open up their glass folding doors to the center living area shared between the entire floor, communication and exchanges naturally occur between floormates. There is a gradation of privacy existing on the floors so the residents decide when to open up or be more introverted within their own units. This same idea is used for the balcony spaces. Accessed through the bedrooms, these spaces have have a lower degree of visual porosity and thus providing a more private outdoor area for each resident outside the eyes of the entire floor.
