The Bridging Superblock

Light, space, and efficiency were the underlying priorities of this superblock. The concept of “bridging” reflects the possibility of stronger community ties with a circular plan, overlapping walkways, and housing that integrates with the movement around the block. In this “bridged” superblock, the goal has been to reduce the alienation of humans from one another and from nature, yet to still provide privacy, which is often lacking in populous cities.
